Hello! As the title says, I’m working on a poem my mom asked me to write for an upcoming funeral.
So far, i don’t have much, but i want this poem to have a lot of or a decent amount of lines similar to what the main thing I wrote so far

I'm so sorry for your loss, and it's good to know you're writing this beautiful poem 🙂 I would encourage really focusing on your memories with him and making it personal to you. What you have so far is nice! Since this is (I assume) presented aloud at the funeral, I wouldn't lean too heavily on rhyming or intricate (confusing) language. Keep it simple! Sharing your thoughts and condolences is first and foremost.
