This one interestingly evoked the word 'black' implicitly and made me think of the relationships between fuel and furnaces. It made me think about life and my own sources of fuel (and the narrator's too) a lot. Huge love ❤️ Very sad but well executed I feel. I'd be curious to see some novel typography? Just for fun. Something subtle but also loud!

This was a real experience I had during one of my mental breaks.

#

A demon pushed me out of my own house. And I got in my car with no wallet and drove as fast as I could.

#

I had no gas, and only made it about 60 miles before I was over on the side of the road.

#

I truly believed I was Santa and the Jumper cable thing happened haha

#

Ended up being locked in a mental hospital for about a week for that one.

#

A priest found me there and told me I was an empath.

#

So I gained great knowledge when God's people found me

Compelling entry. Nice add on with imagery to convey the sense of gloom and doom in the night but also a wisp of romanticism.

this really seems to convey exhaustion, mental exhaustion, and lack of belief in yourself. i love the way you sort of connect urself to the car, with the idea of running on low gas, very concrete metaphors here

sum good stuff

Thank you for your kind words! It was no metaphor to me at the time that's for sure. Sure isn't now either. Haha amen

This is some really crafted work. Not even I could amount to this. It's deep and amazing, the last line is hilarious. (To me atleast).
