The dazzling orange fire of dawn
Starlings’ cries
Burning skies
Sunbeams stab the fledgling ground
Weathered earth
Still, like death
The moon retains its stronghold home,
White on azure,
Monarch impure
Sun falsifies its noble throne,
King of the sane,
Cycles remain,
As lunar emblem overbears,
Reflecting the sun,
Their sanctum undone.
