MOON.
Golden light,
You shine across us,
Your ever beauty,
Breathtaking and divine.
You have such wonder,
Mysteries you hold beneath your skin,
Glowing and shining,
You light my night,
And linger among my day.
Your stars are your children,
They are your pride,
Your planets,
Your family,
The Earth,
Your home.
We set our flag,
Among your dirt,
Claiming your land,
For our own.
But truth be held,
I must preach what is true,
Your land,
Is not ours,
But another world to admire,
A gift of the galaxy,
To give us night and day,
To shine our way through darkness,
And guide us through time.
