You’re the flower that blooms.
Brighter than the days gone by.
For I’m the leaf that falls over you.
Your essence sings to spread a joy.
Whilst I’m here beneath
watching over you
Dance in full bloom with a fragrant perfume
Your petals cover me, while I dry and gloom.
You're plucked while I'm crushed, as tears in me hide,
By the steps that didn’t mean much
and holds that crave desire.
For I’m just a humble leaf
A fleeting motif in nature's brief.
