Silver scars on the earth
flowing glistening in the sun
their merges giving new birth
ones end where the other begun
Paths of water, like blue veins
Carrying nutrients all the way
telling tales of distant rains
highest ice starting to decay
Liquid trails for beasts to follow
Guiding to a resting place
Pools of tears without their sorrow
Each emotion a passing fase
Like a circle she flows unending
tale as old as time
arms are moving, ever bending
Always descending, never climb
Oh how grateful for this river
She made me what I am today
A loving city never more aliver
My footing build on ocean clay
