In forgotten tales, where time is vast,
Two lovers danced, two figures of a dream.
A sacred bond, by Heaven's hands it was cast,
An earthly king, and his skyward queen.
Adam,
The earth, with dirt beneath his feet,
A vessel so pure, where life begins to dome.
In the garden of Eden, his heart and love complete,
He longed to reach beyond his earthly home.
Eve,
The sky, a canvas boundless and bright,
Strokes of azure, painted by her hand.
She craved to share her dazzling light,
With Adam, bound by love’s divine command.
Like twin stars in the sky, twined by destiny’s knot
Their sounds entwined, a union between the Devine,
The earthly king, and his skyward queen.
Like the spark of flint and steel,
Creation’s sacred flame.
Ignition to the dreams that we conceal.
