Struggling to figure out if it’s about human beings becoming caterpillar legs or if it’s a pride metaphor, though I enjoyed it, especially the last stanza with its mention of flowers

I wrote it about hiking, its about engaging with a rapidly vanishing natural world, the rainbow caterpillar is a reference to people walking along very thin track with a wide variety of backpacks, its part of my thesis
