In shadows of sorrow, a lonely man sighs,
A heart full of yearning, a soul compromised.
He pens to his love, words heavy, sincere,
A testament of passion, though pain perseveres.

"Love you," I whisper, embracing your core,
Accepting your essence, seeking nothing more.
No wish to transform, nor perfection to find,
For love is forgiveness, and love is divine.

Through tempests and trials, I'll stand by your side,
In moments of darkness, our love is our guide.
When moods weigh you down, and fatigue dims your light,
I'll cherish you still, through the longest of nights.

For secrets we harbor, in depths we confide,
I'll listen and learn, judgment set aside.
In return, I entreat, do the same unto me,
With trust as our compass, our hearts can roam free.

This love is a battle, for which I shall fight,
For every tomorrow, I'll hold on so tight.
In thoughts, dreams, and admiration, I'll dwell,
Your comfort, my purpose, in love's tender spell.

"Love you," a promise, an unyielding plea,
To strive, to endure, and to never set free.
In words I may falter, but actions won't cease,
For love is our refuge, in love we find peace.
