Late Night Fairy Tales
Only whisper ,never yell
Moonlight shining through the trees
Branches softly dancing in the breeze
Fireflies glitter the forest air
Subtle snoring of a bear
The owl hoots throughout the night
Stars twinkling beautifully bright.
Not a cloud in sight ,no rain or thunder
A clear night for a peaceful slumber.
The wizard sleeps cozy in his chair
not a worry ,not a care.
A Round and full tummy
with a Empty Plate ,Tea with lemon and honey
Long Grey hair above his brow
slightly twitching up and down
All throughout the night, what a harmonious sight
Just a low candle light
Flickering on the side table,
next to his favorite book ,
his favorite fable
He dreams of little pink puffy clouds
Dancing and swirling all around
Wood burning in the fireplace crackles
Cottage mice nibble on half eaten apples
Old staff resting against the fireplace mantle
Comforts of home bring much peace of mind
Lets the spirit ease and unwind
Out the cottage window glass
See the fairies dancing on the grass
Watch them run,watch them play
All night long until the break of day
They come to see the one with Grey hair
The one who sleeps cozy in his chair.
To hear stories of venture and exploration
That truly is their fascination
Displaying beautiful magic and incantations
Immensely Entrancing conjurations
They frolic and waltz throughout the garden
So they wait patiently ,watching him in his sleep
twitch and shake
, drool and quake.
Watch him smile Until the wizard should finally awake.
