the colour of death forever breathing
i know you close and open the voice of your eyes deeper than the rain
Look man
Have I seen
have I been one wide expanse
Had I been that deep
I never breathe
I felt like a new planet
like eyes stared at
Silent

somewhere never beyond
i have your eyes
their silence
frail things enclose me
they are too near
unclose me
close my fingers
you open
you open always mysteriously
if you wish to close me
shut the heart of this snow
everywhere descending;
nothing to perceive in this world
intense fragility texture

wow! “Silent” being its own line to close the stanza was striking. The start was a little wobbly but that line really straightened everything out.

in the second stanza, were it my poem, i’d say “you open / you open / always mysterious” and end it differently. Your point is great and super clear. Loved this!

These are transcripts of black out poems I’ve made 🙂
