which air pump? the blue one is nitrogen and won't work for breathing i believe

could also be a multiplayer desync issue.... have you tested in a singleplayer game?

correct, I just used it and went in the water... working fine for me but i'm in a singleplayer game

maybe try to empty the airtank and refil it completely

I'm not sure there is one, just gotta wear both the airtank and rebreather
