Dismantling magazines should return the bullets to your inventory like any other container and it's contents. Many times I want the ammo but not the magazine.

I believe you can "Unload Magazine" to recover bullets, then hover over to make sure which magazine is empty to dismantle it.

From what I gather he's asking for the "dismantle function" to
"unload clip automatically and THEN dismantle".
