I'm on a multiplayer server and we have someone shooting through my base walls, they don't seem to be able to get into the base, but they're able to shoot me while inside my base. Tried running back to my base, stole their car, drove it around behind a building, still got shot through the building. Not sure what the exploit is.

Through the whole building or just one wall?

Other players are reporting the same thing. Many are saying he's invisible and I'd have to agree, can't see him, but he sees me through dense trees. Doesn't seem to run out of ammo and his accuracy is silly.

Hard to test, but it seemed like multiple walls, I moved to other areas in my base and it didn't make a difference. I have T4 fortifications and wasn't able to hide behind those.

Sounds like a cheat to me 🤔

Even more interesting, typed something into global chat and my message was replaced with 'WHERE ARE YOU PUSSY CHEATER which was the same as another player, so something really weird going on here

#

MIght have just been a player with admin priviledges abusing them, but it was all really weird

#

especially having my text message replaced with a different message

I did not experience the same PvP issue, however, I did shoot a wild animal at a distance while the location was still graphically loading in. This enabled the pathing of the "shot" to not be obstructed from the unload tractor that would have blocked the shot. So, in your case, the assailant might be using this graphic delay that sees you, you for the shot before the actual walls, game objects e.g. vehicles, houses, crates, etc. loads in. Very similar to loading into the game and your surroundings are not fully loaded in, same principle applies. You can pull your weapon and shoot zombies before the house, walls and objects load in.
