Is it possible to have the light intensity change dynamically?
I have been experimenting a lot with the console commands and found very realistic looking values for light and shadows (with lumen) but i constantly need to adjust the sky intensity based on the sun location and when i enter/exit buildings.
I can post exact lines and values when i get back to my computer if you want to try them out.

Also i tried to adjust the auto exposure settings but i never got it to work right, so i think it's not even possible through console.
(I have no experience of game making, only tweaking the .ini settings.)

#

ofc imo you should post a screenshot with values as it can be a reference point to anybody

i'll be looking forward to see what u come up with

my opinion is subjective, I'd love to see a lighting mod like this! Diss is working on new support for mod creators so maybe stuff like shaders could be a thing in future

Ok i took a few quick shots vs original (i don't know if the settings really are fully reset when i change the ini file so be advised.)

I hope @upbeat wave can work out the global illumination to be more realistic, i couldn't make the light scatter any further without increasing the sky intensity. The problem with my settings are mostly that light leaks through walls become very visible and glass objects begins to glow, and when increasing enough the light starts to flicker. And of course the fact that it needs constant adjusting 😆 The range i mostly use are 0.1 at night and 2 at clear sunny day, interiors go from 5 to 100 depending how much light comes from outside, whatever looks best. And here's the full GameUserSetting.ini i think some of the values are default but i haven't had time to clean it up and some are totally unrelated.

Funny, now seeing the pics in mobile they don't seem to differ anywhere near as much as in the game 🤔

#

But anyway the first pic is illustrating well what i'm after, more light flooding inside buildings like in real life.

lumen is really badly implemented in this game has to sayy it

#

you are better off playing with baked in shadows since you cant see shit with lumen on
