Workbenches should have dedicated slots for stuff like screwdrivers, grinders, hammers etc that dont use weight in the bench
also the work bench weight should be increased by a large amount (maybe 1,000 or 2,500lbs) to allow people to do more crafting and less shuffling items in and out of the bench trying to craft stuff or the weight limit could be taken out all together but the bench would be limited to just crafting items to stop people from using them as storage for other items
i think items that have a dedicated purpose like the wood storage box, car tire stand and car battery stand should have infinate storage but should be limited to just those items. in my opinion its very annoying to have a dozen car batteries but the storage item for them can only hold 6 batteries.
the addition of storage containers that could hold a crazy ammount of weight would also be a welcome additon the game (maybe a 10,000lbs limit) that way all the crazy heavy items (car parts and such) can be stored all in one place and i dont have to have 15 different storage boxes around the base that only hold 4 car parts
