We have the ability to connect various items to an electrical source. Wouldn't it make sense to also have the ability to connect specific lights to a light switch? Even better, the ability to connect multiple items to a light switch! I would love to flip a switch to turn off not just my porchlight, but all outside lighting when daytime comes. This could save on power usage during the day when outside lighting isn't needed. Currently, if I want to turn off all outdoor lights, or if I find I'm not pulling enough power, I have to run around and turn off, remove the lightbulb, or disconnect the source of each and every outdoor lighting item I'm utilizing. I'm too lazy for this lol. Gimme one switch to rule them all!

All pre-built wall and celling lights should be attached to wall switches, all wall switches should have a connection menu, player built lights should be able to be connected to existing wall switches, player should be able to build wall switches in a form of small electrical box with a button, that can be clicked to turn on/off, but also should have a connection menu. Everything that consumes and/or produces resources should have a connection menu. The connection menu should allow player to permanently disconnect and temporarily switch on/off any attached resource consumers. Also, I should disconnect from the discord, I type too much.
Just need something like this, whereas instead of the battery supplying power, the light switch, if connected to a power source could just activate or deactivate the current flow to attached lights. This would come in handy when you want to have a lit area, but not always have the lights on.
