Hey guys first of all amazing game. What would be great for realism is the amount of meat that you get from these animals in terms of finished meat. If I kill a cow in the game now what you get is minimal. A cow will typically yield 170 to 250kg of meat. A pig 75 to 85kg. A big deer could yield 100 to 120 kg. You could possibly create a "BUTCHERING" skill and the higher the skill the more different cuts of meat and the greater the output you could get from an animal. You could also create activities such as smoking, jerky etc that can preserve the meat for longer periods of time.

I know in the future release, they were talking about Hunting and Husbandry skills to allow us to not only hunting animals, but then use a tool (probably a knife) to allow for skinning and recovering different stuff from animals. Also looking at farming skills

yeah you're right the roadmap doesn't say if it'll include something like that. It'd be nice to see something like that
