In Vein, when transferring items between containers, the system currently moves everything by default. However, players often carry essential gear—like food, medical supplies, favorite weapons, tools, lockpicks, and navigation items (cell, map, compass)—that they want to keep on their person.

It would be incredibly helpful to have a way to mark certain items as "favorites" or "protected" so they’re excluded from bulk transfers. This would streamline inventory management and prevent accidental loss of critical gear.

A simple favorite tag or lock icon could do the trick, allowing players to transfer everything else with confidence.

There is a tiny little lock on the side that makes the items stay in your bags.

It would be nice to see the existing lock functionality cover manual shift-click transfers as well, though. More times than I'd care to admit I've found myself shift-clicking a few (like, five or less) items to transfer them into a container where I couldn't just "put similar" them and I shift-clicked one too many times and didn't realize it until much later.
