Re-scavenging

Don't know if working as intended or a bug, but you only get scavenging experience the first time you loot an object. Had the hot idea to pop a scavenging book and hit up the school... didn't get a single experience point.

Yeah I really don’t get scavenging. I went door to door looting and dismantling everything in preparation for EA.

My dismantling went from 3 to 67 and my scavenging went from 32 to 34

From what I have seen... you only get experience for what you remove from a container, no idea if based on items or weight or whatever. You get nothing for looting zombies and nothing for lotting a container a 2nd time.

Well these were all new containers cause I typically only go into warehouses and stuff. I was getting scavenging experience from dismantling containers with items in them. But it was like 45 scavenging experience compared to 350 dismantling

I have popped an increase exp scav book, went through the school opening and taking everything from every locker, desk, and filing cabinet and didn't get many stat points. I disassembled everything I collected. I don't get the way it triggers. Have either of you noticed if there is an increase for looting harder to access items like the lockpick 75 areas? I didn't keep track.

Not to bore anyone with details, but the exp for stats seems off. If I make a 2x food item for str and vit, then pop a book for each, then do jumping jacks, it doesn't seem multiplicative, maybe additive to the base?

Ok - just went into a shed. I did the 2 tote stack so I could see it side by side. I looted and took all the items in the first one and received 222 scav. I destroyed the second one and received 81 dismantle.

you're right, stat boost items don't stack

Ok, side by side, 2 filing cabinets, one looted 245 scav, the other disassembled 330 dismantle. Then I tried these 3 cabinets, took items from each one, 110, 110, zero for scav.
