I have been playing on a private multiplayer server hosted by another player. When eating, only the host can open and eat canned food. I can open cans, but for me and the third on the server, they remain sealed. If I open a can and place it on a surface, the host sees the can as opened. I have tried eating those and still hurt my teeth. We have restarted servers a few times with the same results. This is a bit frustrating when a large portion of the food that isn't junk food is canned in early gaming.

When you got hurt teeth was that due to it being closed or due to it being frozen?

closed but I opened it with a claw hammer. I tried both "cool" and "hot" temp cans. I also had the server host open a can and give it to me... still hurt my teeth.

I havent had this happen a lot but I have opened a few cans and when attempting to eat it, it hurt my teeth. Doesnt happen a lot but ususally happens when I have more than 1 can. And I do open all of them before attempting to eat it

I ran into this issue as well. My friends would open cans, only for them to display as and act as if they were sealed still. But as the host I would see it opened and could use it as if it was opened. I also opened some cans even for them to see it sealed. We all had multiple tools to use as can openers.
