I have a sprinkler connected to an insulated rain collecter (which has 644 fluid oz of water in it) and is turned on, but is not working. I have tried moving it, restoring the connection, turning it off then on again, but still nothing. Unsure if it's due to the hotfixes or if maybe something changed with how they work? My plants are 100% watered, but previously the sprinkler was just constantly on before despite how watered the crops were.

Can confirm it is only with the insulated water collector. House pipe source and the basic rain collector source work just fine.

This happened in singleplayer for me, I cannot speak for @subtle spruce , however I think whatever you did in the second hotfix might have fixed it for new games.
I did some further testing and I can still replicate the issue with a game that was started for 0.020 and went through the first 2 hotfixes but HAS placed items already, and it shows the electrical connection to both (screen 1). I placed a brand new Insulated Rain Collector and Fluid Barrel and rigged them up to a sprinkler, and they show the proper water connection(final screenshot)
But in a new game started after yesterday's hotfixes, the issue no longer persists as shown in the second screenshot. You can see 0.020h2 in all screens.

This bug has got worse. Experimental build no longer even supplies water from ordinary Rain Collectors now, or the Well. It used to be just the advanced ones, as yesterday the collector was functioning, as was the Well but now all 3 items (both collectors & well) only supply electricity to the spribnklers, causing serious crop issues as I dismantled all my watering cans

Nope - this is the latest experimental build, although it's hard to tell what the build is or when it was installed since Steam removed the 'let me decide when to update' option.
