#guns should be louder

I think the spawning system is made so that they dont exist miles away in the game... Also you really can't tell the gunshot direction from mile away as world around you echoes it around. But I agree, gunshot should atract zombies from atleast immediate area, like few blocks away.
I believe in the normal branch I play on the zombies do spawn around the player who was using a firearm. Also to note when I was in another session & they were a few houses away, like three or four houses & using their firearm I could hear it
like zomboid i mean
I don't think unreal can handle spawning zombies like in Zomboid though. Atleast it's gonna be really tough for server performance if the whole map is populated with zombies and animals even players dont see them
I agree tho, when you shoot your gun i would expect zombies to react on it a bit more. Zombies trom across the street baraly start moving towards you. And it should atract more zombies from around you. Like in real life you would be able to tell the general direction where a shot came from.
you can change this in the game settings so that they can "hear" you/ SFX from further away/ closer.
Ah, il have a look at thar
yeah you can also increase/decrease their vision, HP, strength etc
+1 guns should be a lot "louder" otherwise suppressors are pointless and no fear factor when using a firearm
Ehh, maybe an option to scale how far it can be heard. A few hundred meters and gunshots from smaller arms just become a pop from 'thataway'. maybe when firing off 7.62 and bigger rounds for sure
