This is specific to pony tail, at least so far. I had another character without this issue. Not remembering their hair though

In the interest of being thorough, I did a second character with pony tail and got same result. Also, I was doubly sure to scroll mouse up to be sure it was all the way forward for first person.

Got the same here. Hair in the eyes and the hair on the back of the head clips into the skull.
