When you drink, on top of the current chromatic aberration-y screen effect, add an input lag that becomes more exaggerated the more you drink. I'm guessing you'd probably want to restrict this to just movement and view controls since I could see this getting frustrating within the menu screen. This would add another level of visual immersion and simulate an impaired reaction speed due to inebriation.

Oh wow, maybe I didn't get drunk enough.
Yeah when drunk youll wobble all over the place
Nice. I'll get sloshed next time I play to see it in action.
I tried to induce the drunk wobble effect but couldn't seem to get it to kick in. The layers of the chromatic aberration screen effect became more and more separated but I didn't see anything else happen. Ended up killing myself from alcohol poisoning trying to induce it. Bug maybe? It wasn't off of one type of alcohol, if that helps. It was mostly vodka and when I ran out, beer.
Works fine for me (holding W here)
Ooooh ok, it's movement based only. So I was suggesting a view point lag (delayed mouse movements with an exaggerated blur effect) in order to make it more difficult to aim a gun while drunk. With just a movement based lag, technically you could still aim a gun unhindered as long as you were standing still. Just something to think about, I guess. That being said, does the current movement wobble translate to driving a car?
It does
