When playing with friends or family & they host, they get off the game & when disconnected from the game & attempting to join back up with them it kicks each added player that is not hosting back to the main menu. ( happens in normal mode not canary )

@sonic pebble No I would not join my brothers session as it was set to private until he got in fully. He got off cause he got stuck at the corner of the bed which sad to say I forgot to take a picture of it. But before he got back on i told him i was disconnected from the session so, he said, 'well get back on I am back on the world.' I tried to several times but was not able to get on so he got mad which he does easily for things he thinks is in beta which he does not get heh. ANYways I tried to get on his session which I could not but he remade a new character & then I was able to get back on.
