I'm taking advantage that the game doesn't take place in Russia (thank god I'm tired of eating it all the time with this kind of game) to free my creative spirit and share my ideas with you.
I don't know the champlain valley in real life, I don't know what it looks like and if you do something identical to reality, in any case I have some idea for you if you want to take liberties and not realizing exactly what is in reality.
Redford I really see it as a small country town and so I can see several towns like this all over the map!
It would be good to find Motels on the road, but not recent motels, old American motels, with a bit old decor inside (like those in the Supernatural series at least for the first season)
It would also be good to find
-
Diners American.
-
Old gas stations with a shop (like the one in the old horror movies where the manager is a strange old man with missing teeth, sitting on a chain with his shotgun placed near him who advises us not to passed by this road)
-
Small American grocery store (similar typical of many zombie movies)
-
And... maybe a single big city: I can see a city like in the last of us, or Atlanta in TWD seasons 1 or even the city that we see in the last "gameplay" (lol) from The Day Before.
The Kyle must think I'm crazy, but wait I'm not finished lol. The example of the city that I gave is so that you can see the aesthetics of the city I am talking about.
So a city (the size does not matter as long as it is an imposing minimum and that we understand that it is not a country town) composed of large buildings which can be visited as much as possible. (I know that not everything can be visited and that's why I said "a maximum")
If you ever like the idea and above all it's doable, a dilapidated city with grass on the road, plants on the buildings, why not collapsed buildings on others.
it would have to be very dangerous in terms of the zombies there because inevitably it would have a lot of loot
