nucleus is a draft mode and 7/7 means 7 factions and 7 slices in the draft. This is a leftover from my normal header which i just copy pasted 😄
In Twilights Fall the factions dont make sense because we have an alternative setup anyways

Uhm, good question. I'm not sure if Nucleus works; there is usually a selection between Milty draft and full Franken-style bag draft.

If we do nucleus (or milty), you should keep 7/7 in the header (or whatever numbers you want). If you want us to draft from all mahact kings in the game, you should make it 8/7

Also, @humble mortar , would you like a description of how a TF (milty and nucleus) draft differs from a normal draft? Since you haven't played before

The biggest difference is that speaker position is no longer a choice anymore. We will instead have faction packs of 3 factions (which now that I'm thinking probably makes it so that technically you should describe this as x/y/z). These will be the factions that we will then use to determine home system, starting fleet and speaker order, as described in the rules for TF. Also the "faction" pick will be much less important since most of our powers will come from splices and the only thing the factions gives is a comm value, flagship and mech.

The 3 factions of each pack are glued together right? Are these packs random or handpicked?

Yes they are glued together. They are semi-randomised so that one is speaker priority 1-10 (good factions) and one is 21-30 (bad factions) and I think the last one may be fully random. Here I mean good and bad as in how good their starting fleet and home system are, where firmament is 30 and Mahact are 1 (more best lorewise for what is currently happening)

I think the way described in the rules is possible to use, but I think we would have to do the mapbuilding ourselves to be able to use that and I have only done miltys and nucleus in TF so I can provide no info on that
