I personally prefer Milty because its less to think about. But nucleus is kind of cool and gives more options in the draft - faction, seat, turn order, and HS adjacent three planets

In a nucleus draft, the slice you pick is just the three planets adjacent to you home system (maybe the one by mecatol also but cant remember) and then the rest of the planets including equidistant are autogenerated on the map. Then as part of the draft you pick you position around the board which basically let's you pick the rest of the planets in your slice separately.

Speaker order dictates your board position

I think the only way to do that is to deselect possible factions down to a set number that includes nekro. Either that or allowing any faction to be picked maybe? Im not sure id have to look into it when I set up the game and the draft

Oh, at the top. Mine isn’t great. But I hope a lot of that was learning the levers in the first game.

Also, I feel like I was after Carl a few time (and we had two big battles) which means it wouldn’t be my turn at normal times like 9:30pm, and when I’d wake up at 5, it would have been my turn for six hours.
