I spoke to Cos and Rob yesterday - think we can start this game any time now

Keep it simple for players new to async - use both expansions, PoK and TE, no special events

#

Milty draft is a typical setup mechanism here - basically it’s a snake draft, we get a random selection of factions, ‘slices’ (groups of tiles immediately outside your home system, so you have some minimum of resources/tech specialties/wormholes and such) and seating order (speaker, 2nd, 3rd, 4th around the table)

Things can be tailored - e.g. 4/4/4 means 4 stage 1 objectives, 4 stage 2 objectives and 4 secrets, rather than the usual 5/5/3

And we can influence the draft to include or exclude specific factions

Cos has said he’d like to poay Nekro Virus, I’d like to try out Firmament/Obsidian, don’t know about Rob or Sweeney - or we can get a random selection and see what comes out
