Hi there, I'm new to Async. But I am in UTC 7 and i can play quickly. Any openings? If not, i totally get it... your call 🙂

Hi Klammy, welcome to async. Unfortunately, this is a ranked game (TIGL is Twilight Imperium Global League), and while you’re welcome to join ranked games, this particular game requires you to be at the rank of minister or higher. You’ll want to look for “TIGL Unranked” to start your ranked game journey.

I don’t see any non-TIGL games posted atm but it won’t be long. If you don’t want to play ranked games yet, just look for something like “PoK, Milty, 7/7 NA” which means it’s a regular game, with POK expansion, using a milty draft with 7 factions and 7 slices, and North America. Now, that’s just an example of what to look for, of course, the 7/7 isn’t important and you might see 7/9, or 8/8, but just giving an example. The lack of the term TIGL is the important part, really, and then it also sounds like you’re in EU timezone as well

DS is a fan made expansion with new factions and systems, so you’ll likely want to avoid that, and Absol is a person who created an alternative set of Tech, Relics, and Agendas, so again, Absol might be an avoid for now until you are used to async and want to try something new

Final clarification, if it says “TIGL Unranked” that just means you haven’t won a ranked game, but is still part of TIGL, if you don’t want to play league play at all, avoid the term TIGL. Look for the “casual” tag for non-league play
