I want to try a different board setup, and at the same time experiment with some aggressive play. All timezones welcome (I'm Pacific Time). No whispers.
Galaxy creation setup through the typical ring structure, but instead of the usual hand of system tiles we do: 2 blue, 2 red, and 1 (randomly determined) hyperlane. The hyperlane is placed just like any other system tile. The hope is that with less planets and a smaller galaxy we'll end up in more combats. Common sense rules for placement apply (hyperlanes have to minimize connections to the edge of the world, you can't use them to block off a players home system, can't place them beside each other unless forced to, ... I'm sure more edge cases will pop up).
Discordant Stars in use. Everyone draws 3 factions at random and picks 1.
Objectives are using the 4/4/4 structure.
