pbd5155-launched [FULL] - frankendraz overdraft with a twist (open draft - NA Superfast 5/6/4-14VP)

Will mostly be a normal frankendraz overdraft game with one twist. In your 1st bag you pick 2 items. All other bags will still be 1 item per. This lets you start with a a better direction and build from there. Will pull people on point style.

The two major edits that I generally implement (assuming the table agrees) is modified rules for the 4th ring and slice creation as well as adding a 4th SD to everyone's reinforcements

so, to clarify: draz is you draft factions, then build your own. overdraft is 2x everything, and then powered means what again?

powered means 4 faction abilities and 3 faction techs

i have never seen a frankendraz non-powered myself (3 abilities 2 tech)

it is just the "normal" vs overdraft (2x stuff) realy

@cosmic tartan are you asking anyone? if not, i will ping some of the people we have been playing with. I just know others has expressed intrest to you

Also, feel free to toss out ban factions now people. Mine will be Zealots of Rhodun. I hate Sanctification Field

it's a lot all at once, but my first game was overdraft so if you're willing and able to jump into the deep end I personally don't mind

in normal franken if it abilities. in frankendraz you draft whole factions, then mix up what yo ulike

kind of. with this variant, you draft whole factions, then you piece together a faction out of pieces grabbed from them

one of the things that causes the most weirdness is double FS and mechs, since you combine the abilities of both pieces you choose

I'm in one of those. a DS+ game that slowed to a crawl after our Lih-Zho player became a lot less active

ok you say combine the abilities but before you said you build your faction out of what you choose

yeah, here I have a template that I use for crafting factions that might help get the point across

yep. so if you draft Nekro, Sol, and Saar (plus others) you can pick Necro FS, Sol Info and Carrer, Saar scavaging, etc

2 FS have BOTH ablitiies in overdraft

you get 2 FS in your reinforcements, and both of them have the combined abilities of 2 faction's FS. You choose the better of the two values for movement, combat value, unit abilities, etc. and then you get the text abilities of both on each ship
