To launch a new game, please run the command /game create_game_button, filling in the players and fun game name. This will create a button that you may press to launch the game after confirming the members are correct.

Oh, I should probably explain what this is 😆 Almost all new games start off here in the #1064017530391379998 section. you can see some examples if you look around: the OP posts what kind of game they're looking for, as well as which mods and expansions, specialty rules, etc. are going to be applied to the game. there's a role called LFG (looking for game) that you can tag if you're looking for random people to hop in, otherwise you just tag people in the thread
once the group has been assembled, there's a bot command that OP uses to set up the game channel. There's a LOT of games going on right now, so there'll be an invite to another discord server posted in here. accept the invite and it will take you to the game and assign you a role with that game number
I can walk y'all through it a bit more once we're set up, but I wanted to double-check and see if we wanted this to be a public or private game

Sounds good thanks for the info. I think I would prefer private at first to get used to the online mechanics and then go public
