Alright. So I’m thinking Naalu. If anyone wants that I have other options.

Also, I was thinking we could do a mini draft for positions and Speaker? I can make a random list and we just do a quick pick for the Triforce V2 Map.

I was literally thinking about picking Naalu with Muaat being my backup pick, but honestly? I'm a warmonger. So I'm more than happy to play Muaat. The new players will receive mercy I promise

Haha oh nooo. I can switch if you want. We should use a different map if you are playing Muaat because look at the ones in that link. See any supernovae? Nope. That person does not like Muaat.

It should be noted, Muaat using supernovae for production is only worth it if it's next to MR. Otherwise there is always a better option for creating units. Supernova are locked at 5 production, the most I've ever had in one system was 9 I think.

I'm for whatever map would be most forgiving for our new players. I can live without a nova on the board especially considering if we draw a map with a nova, the odds of it being within range of me is 50/50 really. So I'm fine with whatever the group wants

Good point about the supernovas, I think the learn to play PoK map is fine, but without any legendary planets unlocked, it can make some objectives and other various cards feel lame for the whole table, so if @sonic flume wants a supernavaless game, so be it

That map looks good to me, and wormhole placements look great for Ghosts. Actually, that's incredible for ghosts. As well, @ivory haven the skill ceiling for Ghosts is wicked steep. So I'll straight up tell you, you can get to the legendary planet Mallice on turn turn one. If you pick a starting position close enough to a wormhole, you can use your agent and get control of a legendary planet and nobody can stop you. Your mobility is your strongest asset.

Of course! I played Ghosts in a TIGL (ranked game), and learned a lot of hard lessons. Mind you, I was sandwiched between Nekro and L1Z1X. That probably doesn't mean anything to you, but they are arguably the two most aggressive factions in the game.

I was actually picking between Nekro and Ghosts for this game! The way they tech seems super fun, albeit confrontational

Also a lot hard lessons learned played Nekro on my account 😂

The spread for this game is very good. I'd advise caution playing them in games where other people are less tech dependant. The first few techs they siphon should always help them with their aggressive nature. I played them in a game with fucking CAVEMEN/WOMEN @rain bobcat @ashen root 😂😂😂 (everybody was playing diplomatic focused factions, and the only war based tech anybody has was Plasma Scoring, which is useless if you can't get to Bombard phase of combat)
