I've got a baby coming in a month and I don't want games that are going to run over that time. So looking for folks who can commit to getting it done in 2-3 weeks. That means the norm is to respond to pings within a few hours, and for everyone to keep a turn timer of maybe an hour, 2 hours tops. No whispers. Preference for 10 points, but flexible. American time zones desirable, but less important than just being regularly available when awake.

I can do a super fast game. I'm generally very responsive.

My other games are going slower than I wish so a fast game to keep things moving will be nice.

Not sure what it means for anyone else, but to me it's: my main priority is to have fun. It's fun to win, so I try pretty hard to win. But I'm not that interested in a game that feels miserable to play

While we're waiting for #6, do people have preferences for setup? My general starting point is 10 points, milty with 7 slices/7 factions. That's just a good, straightforward game. But I'm happy to do something different if people want something else.

I guess I'm just trying to figure out if under the right circumstances elimination or taking a home system round 1 is on the table. I had my home system extorted in a current game with pumwi and it feels like a fun chill vibe, which i thought was casual. Then i had a recent experience where everybody was shocked and upset when i attempted to kill a keleres starting fleet round 2 with cabal because the game was supposed to be casual. If we prefer a no-fear drafting game i just might want ten factions or remove a few early aggression factions from the pool if nobody minded
