Hello everyone. I’m recruiting for an additional play-testing group of my “Oath of Kings” homebrew (with or without me actively playing). It’s designed to emulate the boardgame Oath with its campaign mechanic, and provide a changing environment with different scoring methods for those that won last game. The current play-tests are going strong, but I’d like one more going if possible. It should be fully compatible with any other homebrew, so if you want to do DS or Absol’s that works with me. Rules to the homebrew are below.

If we want to either do the quick-start, or start with a full game that also works for me.

Nah, it’s monthly only it seemed like. You can probably donate then cancel though. I think they still have ~$50/month deficit of server costs

I’d say yes to Absol, but no to DS. I’ve only been in one game, and there are so many factions that I think I’d struggle to know what was going on while also trying to figure out the campaign stuff. That being said, if majority go with it, I’ll cope

I feel that exact way about Absol 😂 I really like the agenda changes, but all the rest really confuse me.

Well I’m also not desperate for Absol to be in play. I like it (mostly) but don’t view it as essential for the game, so if others don’t fancy it, I’m happy to go with the usual suspects

Ummm discordant stars is the additional factions that I have printed and we’re playing in the “harmonious stars” game. I’d probably just say yes to this. Absol’s Absol is a rework of the agendas so they’re more impactful and have less options that are just nothing happened.

DS for the most part is really well balanced without any above or below a solid band of use or power. Absols Agendas make it so you actually care about what happens, there's no dud agendas in the deck. For and against both do things, and it even matters who voted the most for something

Looks like we’ll do a game with both.
The campaign rules are posted at the top. Do you guys want to do the quick start, or the normal start. (Normal will be a full game to start the campaign, quick start is we just assign an emperor based on who has speaker) thumbs up is normal, down is quick
