My alliance games were with splitting factions into 3 groups and the the teams pick their alliances in secret

I prefer milty, because I’m used to it. I’ve done a few alliance games before, and it goes kinda like this: the draft is set up with 3 participants , with 2 players deciding faction pairs, slice pairs, and speaker pairs. For example, if my partner and I want Nomad and Mentak, they would claim one of the two and the admin will essentially remove the other from being picked. Same with slice, where speaker is 1/4, 2/5, or 3/6. Would this type of draft work?

I like that, but at the same time we might get some over kill combos, picking faction first could be a huge major thing. I was thinking something like that but with fixed pairs of factions prior to the Milty Draft. What do you think?

Im not super excited with Keleres, too, just because they are super new and strange, and doesn't appeal to me on a theme aspect. But if they came up, might be a good way to learn them

Oooo, I like this, we can do like a SCPT Tournament 5 type of thing, were we have 4 pools of factions, then 1 is randomly selected, then we make the pairs of them but not knowing who will end up having it, theeen we do the Milty draft you are describing

to make it more interactive and fair, the pools were made lie this: each player draws 2 factions, and in a random order, they put one in one of 4 pools, and draw a new one. Until all factions are drawn, except one that i always in all pools

That worked well because they were using a 25 basis of factions. If we remove the Mahact, we can skip that part

so, is there a way we end each person 2 factions, ad have them draw a new one each time, or at least send each person 4 factions, all at the same time?
I know how to do that on bgg, here, no clue on how to start a random draw/dice
Im asking for some help to see how to do this on Discord, or if there is any other web we can use

So, lets do this:

Amit: Mentak, Yssaril, Saar
HappyDayGamer: Arborec, Muaat, Saardakk
T1Gamer: Ghosts, Sol, Winnu
Oscar: L1Z1X, Naaz-Rokha
Pool 1: Naalu
Pool 2: Cabal, Saardakk, Winu
Pool 3: Saar,
So, each of you got 2 random factions. When is your turn, you put one of those factions in one of those pools, and I'll send you a new faction. we keep doing this until all 24 factions are in those pools, and then we pick a random pool from there, and then we decide collectively how the pairs of factions will be between factions only on that selected pool.
And then we do a Milty Draft
Lets do a random turn order: First is @gloomy orchid , 2nd is @snow trout , 3rd is @velvet kiln , 4th is @wild mesa , 5th is @merry zephyr , 6th is @summer kernel
