(Full) Trying something Crazy

So I want to play a weird game, but will need some ideas on the map part, I want to set up an 8p 20vp game. Looking for fast players as this will take quite a while to begin with. We will do the Objectives a little different to help with speed, 2 Stage 1 and 1 Stage 2 revealed at start, and alternate Stage 1 and 2 reveals each round (Round 2 is Stage 1, Round 3 is Stage 2, and so on) and 4 Secrets (5 with Obsidian). I would like the map to be 4 ring and slightly on the poor side so won’t be able to do that in milty, and a mixture of base, pok, ds, and ds+ tiles and factions. Also open to other ideas to help make it interesting.

I'd also suggest other sources of points

I think the Obelisks I've been using work really well as something else to fight over

And I'll also shill my own exploration decks as there's a few extra points in there

Maybe also just absol's relics? For the extra shards

well, you could at least do speaker + faction, then make the map

or do

faction + speaker (where speaker pick also picks slice, then everyone else picks a slice and with that also their speaker pos.)

I don't like that option. Gives no reason not to pick speaker first and if you win the roll gives a huge advantage

Its a homebrew of TI that replaces things like agendas and relics (I think) to make them more significant. Playing it in a couple games and it doens't make it worse, I don't know that it has made significantly better either

@woven jetty you said 4 ring map right? How reasonable does it need to be? Main question is whether I can use the border anomalies, since those can add some real texture to larger maps without taking out large amounts of space for hyperlanes

Yes 4 ring, on the poor side, prefer few if no hyperlanes, anomalies are good just not many supernovas, gonna be a long game so plenty of room to spread out and interact
