As a new player to TI4 and to Async. And I am currently in six games. I wish that my faction and the factions of all of the other players was written somewhere, anywhere on the map. I have to go and look it up online or go to the icon channel and find it to know who I am playing against. I've made a spreadsheet to tell me who else is in the game, but this is still annoying to have to go and look at. If the name of the faction could be written anywhere on the map, that would be awesome and really help me out. Thank you for thinking about this. I know many of the players already know the symbols, and perhaps one day I wil know them too, but right now... I don't. Thanks.

It looks like there's a line of space between the bottom of the faction symbol and the top of the SO.

The potential problem is that some of the color names are long or player names are long. That could be an issue for you.

We have now done the abbreviated version of the faction name here, as a stop-gap measure until a better dev does something prettier
