Everyone gets one permanent hangar slot to make whatever mech they want from all the parts in the game. The rest of the hangar slots are the same as they are now where you have to buy or craft parts.

This essentially undermines the main purpose of the 3-4 week exclusivity period. If new bots become available so quickly, exclusivity loses its value, and overall revenue would likely drop significantly. For example, I personally purchase bot onece like Kumo during their exclusive phase, and many others do the same. If this system is implemented, there would be little to no incentive to buy a new bot upon release, since everyone would have it droping the Devs earnings.

Personally I barely even play the game anymore because of the daunting grind and I would rather not play at all than use a trash starting bot. I’m sure I’m not alone in this belief. They could keep the new release exclusively for the special hangar slot while allowing you to buy it for your other hangar slots.

If this unique slot were avaible in the unraked mode only, then could actually be a good idea
But im not sure because probably only gonna end in most of players playing in Unraked only, so the Ranked one gonna be even more full of bots
