Does anyone else get the feeling their damage output is being throttled? I have two sniper builds one is a x3 trebuchet and the other is a x2 Zeus and Apollo. When I get into matches I stay in the fights constantly yet fail to reachovera millionin damage. For some reason 2 out of 5 of my shots actually do any damage. I can understand if im missing but these are direct hits. I get hit markers and the hit sounds but no damage. I also play with a x5 punisher build and for some reason even with a caustic spike and a full mag dump bots are about to surry away virtual unscathed. If feels selective at times like I'll have a couple of good matches then all of a sudden like a switch turns on and all my attacks feel neutered.

hit registration issues
Sounds like it, yeah. Their netcode definitely doesn't feel entirely reliable.
I've brought this up a few times. Never got an answer on why nor heard of any planned fix or official acknowledgement of the issue
But....you're not the only one
You're definitely not imagining it. There have been plenty of times when I'm reviewing my footage for a video, where I'll see a shot hit, clear as day with impact VFX and everything, and just not do damage. Sometimes a "hitreg" issue was just a near miss (or striking invisible terrain hitboxes) upon closer review, but legitimate zero-damage hits definitely do happen, too.
It's just crazy sometimes tho it's not just a thing i encounter with sniper builds because I have two shotgun type builds and there will be first to 30 matches were im in people's faces mag dumping and when it's all said and done says I only did 600,000 in damage. Then another match comes and I do 3.5 million. It's like there's something regulating whether you win or not.
I doubt it's anything nefarious / deliberate like that; it's mostly likely just a matter of which server you get attached to for a given match, and the general connection quality for that lobby.
It certainly does feel that way sometimes, though
They rent server space , this wouldn't happen on a owned dedicated server...🤷

That's how a lot, possibly most, multiplayer games do it, these days. Just not practical to own your own servers when you want to have serval in different parts of the world, to provide decent options across several continents.

I think that's more down to their matchmaking having some pretty serious problems, than anything else.
Everything My.games does is deliberate... its part of their money scheme for game.
I mean they still have bugs they haven't fixed ...just tried to patch over ...which you can see the results of that being done endlessly... over 70% of player have now left...
You're probably giving them too much credit. I feel the evidence points more in the Hanlon's razor direction.
With how the game is server based and hitreg issues are rampant (hehe) I recommend all the people running snipers switch to zeus / zeus apollo sniper builds!
Hitscan is more reliable for hitting shots even though your range is restricted
Consistency over gambling!!
