Tested switching from mild to strong. Seems to work OK for hitscan weapons like punisher. However, for projectile builds like rocket launchers its constantly snapping my rheticle 20-30m above the target. My rocket launcher projectile goes where my rheticle is. Which with strong aim assist means 20-30m above the target. Its impossible to pull the aim down. The build I tested this on was 2x noricum and 1x rocket launcher. Console is PS5.

I'd also add to this. It seems the game needs a medium aim assist. Strong is too strong even when it works for like the punisher. Its really hard to pull the aim from one body part to another. Where as the mild setting. Its difficult to aim to the one body part you're intending to. If you literally split the difference in strength and gave us a “medium” option. It could be the best assist strength.

At first I thought it was a game mechanic. The recoil from mortars and artillery makes it hard to spam them non-stop, but then I noticed that this only happens with strong gamepad assistance. Please consider this as an additional mechanic for this weapon. It would be cool and harder to use. Because right now it's a pain to get bombarded with artillery.
