In that game, i never lost any mech, never died by enemy fire, got 2 kills, an assist, and the most damage dealt.
Yet i'm 4th, lost 6 points in the league, and my time.

It's a team death match, kills counts, but also not giving kills should count. My ratio in that game was like 2.0. All other players have done worst.

That should be addressed and rebalanced by those meters.

indeed impact should be calculate from k/d/a and damage done
because current system it don't consider the damage when it is one of the most important part of confirm the kill
and death should be consider since some mode more dead is bad

Impact is very raw ATM

Don't even care about damage - the bigger problem is that you can leave massive actual match impact without either damage or kills, and that's disregarded by the system

You can contribute a lot by healing on Tyr or Matriarch.

You can contribute a lot by preventing enemy from moving in on desirable positions.

You can contribute even more by just drawing attention of multiple opponents without even killing them, and thus allowing your teammates to score in other engagements by giving them numbers advantage.

Scoreboard doesn't care. And we would be free to not care about the scoreboard, if only the credits and XP income were not derived directly from Impact score.

As it is now it does insane work to conditon players to killmaxx and disregard actual templay.

It's one thing for a game to just tell you that you suck if don't chase kills, and another to have your progression get tangibly crippled as a punishment.

One more proof over here. Impact points on Adye, while i've done more damage, done more kills, good assists too, while he did 0 kills xD

At the bare minimum:
-damage to armor should be counted
-healing should be counted
-revealing enemies should be counted
-On warp rush, neutralizing a point should also count as it's own separate instance.
I literally won a few games by just playing Tyr and sticking to the highest damaging ally, neither of us lost the mechs, got a lot of assists and damage, but I was 4-5th, the other player was first. So i'm not gonna be doing that anymore as it just feels like a waste of effort on my part to run around supporting by taking out shields and healing only to get a measly 2-3 league points and no credits.

All damage should not be counted as you could just have people sitting in front of walls shooting them, or just randomly spraying with noricums on untouched shields to no real effect.

According to the stats it reads like you did next to nothing…

Ultimately you didn’t get THAT MUCH damage, despite playing the whole game, so you didn’t stand out there.

You only had 2 assists, so you weren’t really helping much there.

So unless you spent the entire game healing allies, I don’t really see how you contributed in a meaningful way.

Just because you “didn’t die” doesn’t mean you did well, or should be rewarded. It’s actually quite easy to run around and avoid getting killed if you’re not focused on helping the team much.

I’m not saying this to be mean, but rather it’s just matter of fact. At higher rank, you are expected to actually contribute.
