The Stand Your Ground pilot talent states that the robot will receive a damage bonus after standing still for 0.2 sec. However, in-game this bonus is received after 5 sec, or at least appears to be received after 5 sec. Either the description is wrong, or the talent is bugged. I have noticed many other pilots have a similar bonus after not moving, so they may be worth looking at as well. Pilot used is Ruin.
