The Jumping rules state that with 10 ft of startup, you can jump up to half your walking speed. The Dash action is a bit unclear in its wording about whether it simply lets you move your speed or if increases your speed by your base speed, so it begs the question: Does taking the Dash Action increase your jump distance?

The Dash action lets you move your speed as an Action. You may, and usually do, also move your speed as your Move, but these are two different things. Dashing doesn't change your walking speed, it just lets you walk again.
