Why is the Prismaticite Reaction Yields worse than the Raw Ore?

I thought the concept with the new Prismaticite was encourage people to convert it into Unrefined Minerals. But as of currently the reactions have less yields than even baseline ores. And people are more inclined to just flat convert the Raw or Compressed Prismaticite into RNG Minerals.

I would think that the Reactions should give better yields than an ore that is unstable.I feel that the current reaction yields should be what the prismaticite should be doing for its unstable raw forms. While the current raw/compressed ore RNG yields should be the reaction unrefined mineral forms yields. Because we are also dependent on moon mining resources to react.

It feels like the current Prismaticite is backwards. And even the Unrefined Mineral Reactions feel inferior to standard ore reprocessing.

Considering how little Unrefined Minerals have gotten to Jita 4-4. I think that is a problem that needs to be recorrected, am I not incorrect in my assessment that it seems its a bit cart before the horse with the mechanics at the moment. When the reactions should be giving the higher yield focus?

That's how I understood it would work 🤔 Normal repo would be better yield but randomized, if you wanted a specific mineral you got less yield 🤔

Seems a reasonable tradeoff?

these have never spawned near us so i cant comment, but if it indeed is the way you describe it does seem like these ores are utterly pointless

i personally dont like the randomized mechanic at all
