PS4 crash but it has been happening for months now and i was hoping it would fix in a patch note. It is random times. i can just start the game and go though dreamsnaps voting and it crash. it just crashed just now on me as i was cooking.

The game has been crashing consistently since Inside out / emotions update during the summer. Crashes occur daily, sometimes multiple times per day but at least once per session.

Crashes can happen during any activity (i.e. entering or exiting buildings, gardening, opening menus, dreamsnaps, fast travel, talking to villagers, foraging etc).

There doesn't seem to be any specific trigger for crashing: no matter what you are doing, the game will eventually crash. I have noticed that crashes seem to occur around autosaving moments. Shortly before crashing, the game often experiences lagging or slowing down (especially while autosaving). And when crash happens, nothing is saved, so whatever you were doing has to be done again.

We had the worst crash on ps4 yesterday. Sold a lot of gems to goofy, basically everything we found all week.. me earned about 4 million.. then it crashed. But nothing was left. No money AND no gems.. my kid is spiralling 🫩😒

Issue: Game crashes ALL the time. Everything, I get error code CE-34878-0 just like everyone else. It's frustrating. Every time I do something of value, im constantly having to save the game in case it crashes and I lose all my progress.

issue: when closing the game, sometimes the ps5 home screen will be super zoomed in on the top left and the only way to get it back to normal is to close and reopen the ps5. this has been happening intermittently for a while now and no other game does this
