Update 18 - Questing Issues

Quest: Lasers & Crafts (EVE Level 4): (added 1.8, bug introduced sometime between 1.8 and 1.15)
Issue: 1/6 fires and 2/2 crater dig spots missing - EVE level 4 quest cannot be completed.

Details: I'm at the step "Use your Royal Tools to remove:
The Fire. (6); The Craters. (2)". Only 5/6 fires have spawned, and 0 crater dig spots have spawned. In previous updates, there were 2 sparkly dig spots (presumably where I could dig up The Craters), amidst the fires, but they have disappeared and there is nothing now.

I am unsure when this changed, as I don't check the area regularly. I've dug up every spot in the space between the entrance to the tunnel under the waterfall and the backside under the waterfall, as well as watered around there, for good measure. I cannot progress on the quest, so I cannot reach EVE's Level 7 quest or Level 10 quest, and their rewards.

Issue- Out of the blue. I can not reach one of the musical memories. When I solved the puzzle the red buttons went away and the memory holder went down and back up again before I could pass.

Quest: Old Enemies (Timon Level 2)
Issue: The Lion King Board game is not awarded as expected at the end of the quest, and players that completed the quest after 1.14 have no way to obtain it.

Details: Based on the in-game dialogue, and the fact that this item is in the Furniture Sets Collection, this is clearly not the intended functionality. In 1.14.1, developers retroactively awarded the item ONLY to players that completed the quest during 1.13, which is NOT a solution - it makes the erroneous assumption that all current players completed that questline during that update, and additionally prohibits any new player from ever obtaining it.

"Board Game" should be automatically added to all player's Inventories that have completed the Timon Level 2 quest (or sent via in-game mail, whichever is easier). For future proofing, the quest itself needs to be fixed so that Board Game is a listed quest reward and/or given during the quest.

Customer service has confirmed that it is not available - language seems to be copied from the fan-made wiki. There was no indication whether or not the developers have been made aware of the problem.

Issue: Dream On Quest, as with others, gathered all of the items but the game did not recognize anything that wasn't already in my inventory when that stage of the quest was started. Quitting the game and restarting it caused the items to register and allowed the quest to continue, however.

Peter Pan keeps appearing in the houses for quest with Joy & Sadness even though he has nothing to do with the quest.

Not really sure which category this goes under because it's a UI (dialogue box) issue during a quest.

For Joy's level 2 quest when you're on the part to talk to villagers about joining the game, Vanellope's dialogue box has my name on it. This same issue occurs 99% of the time when talking to The Forgotten after the quest to give them a name, except it's The Forgotten's name showing when the player is speaking (the bug with The Forgotten's name is not new to this patch).

I interacted with the console to change the flaps, and as the thing was going down I approched it and it sprang back up like this. Now it wont go away. And I see a music orb that I need to progress so its inaccessable to me.

EDIT: I revisted the area and it was fixed! I can continue, so maybe save and quit and check back? I don't think a patch has been posted yet

The game is not recognizing one thing consistently, I have tried every combination of objects and one thing (pretty sure it's the DJ booth) is not being recognized. I've tried many many different combos and I even closed and reopened the game and nothing is working

Edit- it finally worked after removing every item then placing one item and exiting furniture mode after each one

Issue: In Music's On the Wall I cannot proceed after fixing the notes for the second time. All of the tasks are checked except from the top one. I have untracked, retracked, forcequit, restarted game, and pc and the shadow is trapped in the wall but no way to talk to it or the Forgotten to move the quest forward.

Same on Epic but when I restarted and the items registered, and I talked to Joy, she immediately took the items (no interface to hand them over) AND the items that I assembled in my Inventory were NOT taken. Not clear that anything was taken but apparently the quest proceeded fine.

Issue: I placed the pillow fort in a small area where it just fit, and am unable to complete the Place Sadness's Pillow near the Comfy Pillow Fort because it won't fit, but I also can't select the pillow fort to move it somewhere else. I was able to add the 5 objects from the other step but I am currently soft locked on this quest.

Issue : I can't seem to change my outfit at all? Ill equip something, then go to leave to clothing menu and it'll revert to what I was wearing. Noticed it at the start of the Inside Out questline to put on the Mind Worker items
To reiterate - found Mind Worker clothes, they auto-unequipped, and now I can't change my outfit at all. Have restarted the game.

I have got the topaz and the blue falling penstemon flower it registered the Apple and seaweed because I already had those, but it won’t recognize things I gathered after I started the quest and once I get a carrot, it’s gonna be probably about the same for that. I don’t have carrot yet

And I seen other people reporting the same problem on other platforms so that means I’m definitely not the only one getting this problem

I had this same issue then when I was in eternity isle I found the third piece just outside my house there. I know someone else find it outside their house in storybook vale. If you at least one of the expansions I would check to see if it spawned there.

Issue: New green fires spawned in the Forgotten Lands for the quest, but no night thorns. I logged out and back in twice to try to fix it. Is this a bug, or do I just hope night thorns spawn there at reset time? Edit: The Night Thorns spawned for me at reset today, and I was able to complete the quest.

Quest "Dream A Little Dream"

• spotlights are right here but when Joy gave me the quest step, they immediately went to Mail as "Lost and Found"
• When I gave the quest item to Belle the dialog says the opening is about the MC getting teased about something; but this is not the dilaog option I previous picked; I chose the one where they felt isolated.
• Spotlights broke BEFORE scene was acted out even though dialog with Joy suggests it broke after. After crafting replacement bulbs, spotlights still fizzing

Issue: Unable to progress with quest Dream on!

I've gathered the required materials but only two of the six items are registered as collected. I already had apple and carrot in my inventory prior to picking up the quest and they are showing as 1/1. I mined/fished/picked topaz, seaweed, blue falling penstemon and onyx and the quest is still showing 0/0.

I've tried dropping and picking the items up, collecting additional items from a chest and restarting the game but the quest will not update. I've also reset the game.

Issue: in the quest The Family Recipe, I made it to the point of making the cake and taking it to Aurora, but the game glitched at the time and out didn't register that I tried to give it to her. I logged out that day, and the next time I logged in it's telling me "make sure the cake is in your inventory" So, the cake has disappeared and I can't make another because I can only get the cake yeast from Remy once and I can't move forward with her quest line.

Night Thorns are not spawning in the Forgotten Lands, none there yesterday when I got the quest, and none today after 5 am, hoping they will spawn there tomorrow.
UPDATE: When I quit the game a while ago, there were no night thorns in my forgotten, and I checked several times when I played between 5 am and 10 am. I just now decided to turn the game back on and there are now 10 night thorns there, and I can now continue my quest.

Actually yes….while I was in the cave I saved the game then force closed it, waited a few min then relaunched the game, went back into the cave and I was able to progress and finish the quest. Hope this helps for you too

Issue: Peter Pan's "The Valley Pirates" quest is bugged. I cleared all 4 of the ice rocks leading to Eric's hiding spot but the game is only recognizing 3. When I noticed the issue, I immediately closed the game before it had an opportunity to save and redid that portion of the quest. It still only registered 3 of 4 rocks cleared. I repeated this a couple times more and each time it only recognized 3 of the 4 ice rocks being cleared and I am unable to move forward with the quest.

I am in Joys level 2 quest 'capture the sun' and at the point of needing to take a picture of everyone in the castle. I have tried multiple times, different angles, and making sure Joy, Donald, merlin, and goofy was in the picture, however, it isn't registering that I have taken a picture.

Issue: Storybrook Vale - The Adventures of Flynn Rider Quest

When I purchased the Ink and Quill from Scrooge, the quest did not recognize that I bought the item. Buying it a second time didn't fix the issue. I was unable to progress with the quest.

After I saved and restarted the game, the bug resolved itself.

Issue: Dream A Little Dream Quest: Nothing happens when my character tries to activate the yellow button for "Try a joyful, yellow mood." Doesn't matter which side I have the character try to approach it to interact. I've rebooted the game and device several times. Thanks.

Issue:During the quest "Acts of Care", When it came time for the forgotten to hand a boquet of flowers to Mickey, I had to restart the game because The Forgotten and Mickey were just standing next to each other, twitching. After the restart, they properly exchanged the items. When the next phase began where I had to gather ingredients for a Bouillabaise to give to Goofy, The Forgotten disappeared entirely and has not been seen since. Untracking and tracking the quest did not work. Dropping all companions did not work. Dismissing my friend did not work. Restarting the game did not work. Waiting for The Forgotten's daily schedule to change at 9:00pm to force her into Remys did not work. She is not in the Dark Castle, Dreamlight castle, the room I built for her, or any other region.

I've contacted support as well and received two generic responses, telling me to wait for them to show up. But it's been two weeks, they are not showing up. I've been playing this game since release, I think I'd know how my valley works by now. Never had this issue before. I can't continue one of my quests because of it. They're not growing (back), so only night thorns that were already present are still there. I need them in forgotten lands, they won't grow there, nor anywhere else. Customer support telling me twice to just wait, is not helpful. There's a bug. I'm having an issue. I need help. I'm not being taken seriously nor helped. Thank you.

I had all four, but something happened to one of them and it’s just gone. I’ve used the three I had at the tree.

I’ve checked all of my storage places multiple times.

I think not completing this quest is keeping me from progressing with a few characters and I’m hoping I can fix this problem?

Issue: out of frustration with the broken Peter Pan quest from a few hours ago, I decided to work on other characters. Sadness asked me to find 10 duck feathers.

My valley was heavily decorated... an hour ago. She said to search in the Plaza and the Meadow for the feathers, so I did, for an hour or so. I cannot find the final two at all. I used Furniture Mode to seek from on high, I tried everything before going nuclear. Out of more frustration, I ended up stripping out every single piece of furniture, every single house, every single piece of landscaping; tree, bush, flower, or rock. I plucked every single herb, night thorn, etc.* my valley is now literally completely barren in the Plaza and the Meadow and.... No feathers.

I checked the beach. No feathers.

I just undid work I've been putting in since launch.

Edit: 24 hours later, I have used the vacuum to again completely strip the Meadow and plaza and .... No feathers. None. Nothing on the ground in either location.

I updated my game and am now on Maleficent's Rekindling the Fire Quest and I am unable to continue past getting the orb. I have the orb. Mal won't take it. I've untracked and retracked the quest, I've quit to the main menu, and restarted. I'm not sure what to do!

I had to place a house on top of the pillow fort to get it back into my inventory so I could re-place it somewhere with more room. Rapunzel's tower or Joy/Sadness' tower are both small and should fit anywhere the fort did.
