Issue: Items can’t be picked up after bonus drops. My companion keeps trying to pick up the snippet but it can’t. I also can’t pick up the gem from mining a rock. I waited until the blue glow was gone and still can’t pick up either of them. I can’t pick up memory orbs either.

Bug : so it said I had all the ingredients for the adventures of fylnn but I didn't have it in my inventory I was distracted a lil , I've ordered the quill and pen it's not completing that part of the quest so now I'm stuck and it won't progress 😦

Whirlwind sound was there, tried hard reset and soft reset, no dice.
Edit: tried walking into Olympus and back out - the whirlwind respawns, but still no snippets.

Issue: During "A Storm of Stories", I talk to Hades and follow him to the whirlwind outside of Mount Olympus. However, no Shadowy Demon Snippets appear at all. I have tried entering and exiting mount olympus, restarting the game, and even going to my main valley and back again. Still, nothing works. Pretty major bug because it means I am unable to progress at all through Storybook Vale part 2.

It’s not letting me catch any snippets I move the net in all sorts of directions, but ultimately they will not get caught. They’ll just stand there while I wave my net around, but they won’t turn into their non-sentient form once I do that

I'm also having the same issue. I've rest so many times and it definitely looks like it's updated successfully. For some reason the quest just isn't triggering the mailbox 😭 so disappointing

Issue: 1.)The duty reorder stories under the storybook vale task (not the duty for a single story, only the one that requires multiple) cannot be completed. It does not count any stories already completed. It is sitting at 39/50 after all stories are completed. Considering this was the finale of this dlc, I do not imagine you plan to add more. It needs to be adjusted to count reordering completed stories
Issue 2.) The Green and Orange L Bind couch STILL does not show up as craftable despite trello board saying it was fixed.
Issue 3.) Ran into a weird issue that allowed me to complete Maleficent's level 10 quest when she was only level 7, happened after accepting the mail from Aurora for her level 10 reward, did not seem to affect my gameplay but was odd.
Issue 4.) Aurora Journal entries 6 and 42 still MIA after finishing entire SBV dlc. Needs to be readded. a couple gave coins back at launch, believe this was an error at that time that has not been addressed.

EDIT: I found a dang level 3 spawn killer thingy in my Library of Lore! 100% no respawn rate. I removed it. The shadow demon snippets appeared at Mt. Olympus. Odd - but there you have it. Platform: Steam
Issue: Hades' shadowy snippets never appeared. They are nowhere. I've jumped around to different worlds, fished with him awhile, went back, nothing. Re-started, nothing. And there are NO other shadow snippets of any kind appearing, either. Seems like others are experiencing this kind of thing, too, looking above a bit.

Quest "The Tales That Bind"

Rainbow Snippet 0/3 count does not advance when snippets are caught, but quest does appear to advance properly when all 3 are caught.
This line incorrectly attributed to Lorekeeper (see screenshot)
Rainbow Frog Snipped description in inventory is incorrect and should use the one for Rainbow Demon because it is obtained when discussing the second story with the Lorekeeper, not the third; and vice versa.

Issue: Nothing appearing in the mailbox from the lorekeeper at the start of the A Storm of Stories quest

Orange and green L-couches still dont exist in the crafting table, yet persist in the collections menu.
No information on the new critters despite being listed in collections.
Lightning generator was fixed - and can no longer be picked up in furniture mode.
Shadowy snippets are not coded for companions to pick up.
Still no memory orbs from "removing obstacles", despite those memories existing in collections. Thus far, support has just told everyone "no ur wrong and unlucky" when folks have complained. The players are aware of how rng works - no one has gotten an orb.
Repellant traps impact the entire vale, not just their intended biome.
The "reorder stories" meta still cant be completed. 12 stories were added this update, bringing us to an overall total of 39. The 4th piece of the meta needs 50. So now we'll be stuck with never 100%ing crafting, memories or meta duties.
Aurora's Diary entries 6 and 42 are still not in the game.

I don't understand how a gaming company misses so much. Y'all just forgot the Jafar journal pages in EI and ot took you forever to fix. What goes on at Gameloft seriously? You don't communicate with us, your game has constant bugs you don't thoroughly test anything you say something is fixed and it's not. Tne couches still can't be crafted. Stop rushing to put things out. Quality should come first. Star caring for this game & player base.

Im also missing 2 memories from Aurora journals and stuck at 39, and no L couches which they claimed where fixed in April with the whimsical update.

As for Jafars journals they are in the cave in the wastes. I have them all.

Issue: Ink stained world quest incorrect trial door open. Quest says to complete Merryweathers trial of truth but instead the door for trial of virtue was open.
Completed trial of virtue, which completed the quest task to “complete merry weathers trial of truth”, next door opened quest says complete trial of virtue and when entered trial room it started the trial of virtue quest so it appears it’s switched it around

Issue: Aurora and Maleficent's Level 10 quests unlocking early. To explain this in context, when Aurora reached level 7 I completed her L7 quest. I then raised Maleficent to level 7 and completed here L7 quest. At this point, Aurora's level 10 quest immediately unlocked/started, even though she was still level 7. I completed this, which immediately caused Maleficent's level 10 quest to unlock, even though she was also still level 7. I confirmed these were the level 10 quests because the clothing awarded matches that in the level progress indicator when you level up a companion.

My Issues: when hanging out with Aurora, I'm unable to enter any building or house. I'm also unable to catch any Snippets. I can swing at them but all I get is blue swirlies. I didn't try anything else before I force quit and restarted my console.

When I attempt to hang out with Maleficent, we freeze before her conversation box opens up. We're just staring at each other... uncomfortably. I completed her first friendship quest just before I, again, had to force quit. All in less than an hour.

Good luck with...everything 😬

UPDATE: just left Aurora's house during friendship quest The Family Recipe (not hanging out) and once again I'm unable to catch snippets. Also unable to access my wells or houses. I CAN speak to other characters and fish (random action I tried).

Quest "Collateral Damage" - On speaking with the Lorekeeper for the first tiime during this quest, it suggests you should also speak with Merida. But you cannot; you can only collect materials to make the gifts.
Speaking with Merida doesn't happen until much later so it was premature to mention it instead of scripting an extra step, e.g., ||Merida has had to deal with clan feuds so maybe she has some ideas.||

Quest "Dreams and Dark Designs":

when I entered Olympus as part of this quest, there was a Greek Vase that I could pick up. It is marked as a quest object but does not seem to go anywhere.
Once Upon a Dream Dress awarded in the mail by Aurora after quest is complete but rank is not yet 10 with her.
Once Upon a Dream Dress is a costume with shoes and cape but you can still wear clothing pieces like shoes or cape and it will not remove the dress.

Quest "The Two Flames United":

unlocked during quest chain but without level lock, so at the end of this quest I got Maleficent's rank 10 costume reward when she wasn't yet rank 10.

I'm missing Aurora's level 8 friendship reward. My game says I have it, but when I go into furniture mode, I don't see it. 3. I'm still unable to craft the green and orange L couches, They're in my crafting menu, but when I go to craft them, I can't. 4. There's a star coin in the first everafter trial I can't reach. 5. Maleficent's staff keeps going nuts. Please fix all of this please.

They spawn on the flowers, porcini mushrooms, garlic, and common club rush that spawn there. They disappear and appear over and over until they’re captured by the lure trap. Issue: A number of furniture items from Scrooge's store (all part of the Sleeping Beauty collection) display internal object names, rather than whatever the outward facing name should be. So far I've found Banners_03A, FramePainting01, and FramePainting05. I expect there are a FramePainting02 through 04 as well, and probably at least a few more banners (I'm still almost 30 objects short from the collection total so there is a lot of room for more incorrectly named furniture).

I don't understand why you don't care about this game or your audience aside from corporate greed. Fix it. There are a ton of glitches but for SBV alone:

Snipit issue for some
Re-order stories stop at 39
The Two New Companions are nowhere to be found
Aurora has 2 missing journal pages
No memories for remove obstacles
Clothing clipping issues

And communicate. I don't get why on social media you constantly post "buy this" "New this" "Whats your favorite that" why is it so difficult for you to post about the bugs that you actually hear us, acknowledge us and working on the issue with a hot fix date? Stop waiting till major updates to fix stuff because this game constantly has new bugs every update because y'all rush to put things out and don't have beta testers.

In "The Corvid Companion", I cannot put the keys in the keyholes. Neither right clicking nor left-clicking then selecting "transfer" works, besides for the second key.

EDIT: After saving and restarting my game, it appears the state of my inventory had gotten really jumbled. The game crashed when I attempted to close it, and some snippets I'd caught got rolled back out of my inventory. Attempting to place the keys after that restart worked.

I submitted a ticket today for my update issues: Having so many glitches with the Storybook Vale update. I'm on Switch. I'm wondering if anyone is having to redo parts of quests. This is what's happened with me so far. With Aurora's Diary I picked the one up in the Beanstalk Marshes and it didn't register I had it and it wasn't in my inventory. I had to find it again the next day. Then I had everything I need to make the Hero of the Vale coat. I went to make it and couldn't. Signed on again the next day and and to recollect some snippets and make the coat. This brings me yesterday to Trial of Virtue for Merriweather and I did everything to get the Shield of Virtue. It tells me to pick up the Shield, but it's nowhere to be found. So today I need to redo yet another thing I've already done. Other issues are I can't pick up extra snippets and gems when the extras spawn. Can't open memories that spawn. When having a companion pet a very bad lag.

Hi for two weeks now my game has had many bugs, the first one is that when I hang out with a buddy and they drop things I can’t pick it up after, I have a lot of snippets and vegetables laying around in storybook wale and the vally because I’m not able to pick it up. I found two issues

First issue: I have some flowers gathered from a companion and I can’t sell them, neither drop them.
Second issue: I have a chest receive after gathering all the coins from bonus game, when clearing a thorn, and the chest is stuck, it can’t be opened and it’s blocking the enter to the Wally garden.

PC/Xbox Gamepass: Im just trying to unlock the Fiery Plains and keep getting a transaction error. I have tried a different area and get the same message. I have saved and restarted my game to see if that fixes the problem but it does not. I also lost 950 storybook magic.

UPDATE:
The hot fix this morning has fixed this issue for me!! Thank you!

Storybook Vale all the the forging items are spawning in the trial areas. And spawn rates do not seem correct. Other than you collect it for one day and you don't see any more

Issue: My accumulated Storybook Magic is disappearing by random amounts every time I log out of the game. The first time, I logged back in to find it had decreased by approximately 1000, the second time was approximately 2500, and the third approximately 1250. It might be an issue with the Storybook Duties displaying incorrect reward amounts? I tried to unlock Beanstalk marshes when I had 10,000+, and although the game allowed me to select the option & displayed the correct dialogue, it then said "Transaction Error" and didn't unlock the area. Then, when I logged back in a few minutes ago, my Storybook Magic was down to 9000 instead of 10,000+. Since I accumulated most of it via duty rewards, I'm wondering if the issue comes from there

glad I'm not the only one. I just submitted a ticket for this and was getting ready to post it here as well. This has happened to me on two separate occassions, totaling almost 5,000 magic.

Platform: PC

I have already submitted an official ticket. But the bug I am having has happened twice now.

After collecting SB magic and going to unlock the next area, I am told I have enough, and getting a "Transaction Error". First time was for 10,000 and second time for 5,000. I saved, saved my cloud, restarted the game and both times logged on with less SB magic. The first time approximately 2,000 disappeared and this second time that just happened was 2,500 SB magic.

Put out the fires and instructed to enter portal they were guarding. However there is no enter portal/A button - nothing triggers regardless of my distance or position. Have exited game and restarted. Did not help. I am unable to proceed.

•Still having issues with items not being able to be picked up off the ground in Storybook Vale.
•Can't sell anything at the stalls, you get an error message saying "NotEnoughItems" and this issue bleeds into Dreamlight Valley.

glowing piles of sand resettet to the generator and this is not removeable. i reportet this so many times, when will oyu fix that finally. so many another buggs too -_-

issue: while completing the corvid companion quest for Maleficent, i’m unable to transfer 2 of the 3 keys into the gate. i have tried the “transfer” action as well as manually dragging them, and the only key that will move from my inventory into the gate is the second key — which sits in the first slot.
